Livio Mancini is an Italian documentary photographer passionately committed to produce projects that tell deep, personal stories. His work is profoundly inspired and affected by human experiences shaped by events in social contexts worldwide. In his personal journey to document these lives, Livio reveals the raw essence of human emotions and experiences common to us all. Livio studied photography in Milano and New York. He has an architecture degree from the Politecnico di Torino, with a specialization in sustainable development. While at university, he worked as a freelance photographer for Italian magazines such as L’Espresso and Panorama. He’s had several solo and group photo exhibitions in Milano, New York and Venezia. As a documentary photographer, Livio works mainly on mid- to long-term projects, with a variety of clients. His work has taken him to Lebanon, West Bank, Syria, Burkina Faso, Kenya, and Egypt. More recently Livio has worked on projects in Honduras and India, as well as other assignments in the United States and Europe. |
