Livio Mancini is an Italian documentary photographer. His work is deeply affected by the
social issues of current times. Livio’s passion for photography derives from his
commitment to produce projects that are in-depth and personal. His aim is to report,
capture and tell people’s daily life stories from crucial social contexts worldwide.
Livio studied photography in Milano and New York. He has an architecture degree from
the Politecnico di Torino, with a specialization in building for developing countries.
While pursuing his university studies, he started working as a freelance photographer
for various Italian magazines such as L’Espresso and Panorama.
During his career, Livio has had several solo and group photo exhibitions in Milano,
New York and Venezia. As a documentary photographer, Livio works mainly
on mid-to long-term projects, collaborating with international non-profit organizations.
His latest works include reports from Lebanon, West Bank, Syria, Burkina Faso, Kenya,
Egypt, Honduras, India, as well as other assignments in the States and Europe. |
